This being my first indevor into the relm of blogging but here goes nothing...
I wanted to start by getting on my soapbox (great start right) and talk up the Midwest.
I know that the far West and many other places might have the awe inspiring beauty that makes them a favorite among backpackers and campers but, damn it I love the Midwest and can't afford that sort of traveling.
Sidebar: I am looking to go out West when I have my financial feet under me.
Back to the matter at hand. We in the Midwest have lots of untapped beauty that range from the Great Lakes to the Dells of Wisconsin. We have plenty to offer both in our boards and just outside of them. With the Rockies to our backs and Smokies in front of us, we have plenty that we can explore.
So get out there and start enjoying the outdoors that are just outside your door.
